Rockabilly+

I found a couple of things that totally blew me away this month -- the Lux & Ivy vols. noted below, a 1950s rockabilly/proto-punk comp. released by Rhino called Rockin' Bones, and the Yeti 7 comp. They had a significant impact on this mix and I strongly suggest checking them out.

Without further adieu:

1. Guitar Town - Steve Earle
2. Bird 65 - Trashmen
3. Comanche - Link Wray & The Raymen
4. Uptown - Limes
5. Mona (I Need You Baby) - Bo Diddley
6. She's My Witch - Kip Tyler
7. 5FT7 - Tonstartssbandht
8. Rumble - Jack Nitzsche
9. Act Naturally - Buck Owens
10. Jungle Rock - Hank Mizell
11. Teenie Weenie Waddy Kiss - Hasil Adkins
12. Can't Hardly Stand It - Charlie Feathers
13. Who's Been Here - Commonwealth Jones

Download it here.

P.S. My Replacements fetish has resurfaced. I was thinking of including their version of Jungle Rock but ultimately decided the original was a better fit. I couldn't find video of it, but I did find them playing Chuck Berry. Bob shreds the solo and Paul makes up some lyrics.
